Mayor Fan Chenghua of Handan City and His Delegation Visited Zhongnong Economic and Trade for an Inspection and Exchange

 On April 17, 2025, a delegation led by Fan Chenghua, the mayor of Handan City, Ren Huashan, the vice mayor, Yin Lilong, the secretary-general of the municipal government, Zhang Cunliang, the Deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Handan Economic Development Zone, Wang Zhuo, the director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau, Liu Junbo, the District Head of Handan District, and Wang Zipeng, the head of the Second Overseas investment Promotion Team of Handan City, visited Zhongnong Economic and Trade for an inspection and exchange. Guo Xiaomin, the chairman of Zhongnong Economic and Trade, Xu Jingfen, the president, and Liang Zhiguang, the director of Zhongnong Economic and Trade International Trade Center, warmly received them. Wang Zhidong, the honorary president of Shenzhen Handan Chamber of Commerce and the president of EVOC Group, Li Jiadong, the executive president and the chairman of Shenzhen Zhengyun Technology Co., LTD., and Geng Huijie, the secretary-general, accompanied the reception.

  Mayor Fan Chenghua and his delegation first visited the headquarters and cultural corridor of Zhongnong Economic and Trade, where they gained an on-site understanding of the company's core businesses and innovative achievements in areas such as supply chain management, international trade, and technology empowerment.

  Shenzhen Zhongnong Economic and Trade Supply Chain Co., LTD. is the operation platform company of the first RCEP agricultural trade cooperation Center national Pavilion in China. It focuses on the core platform of the agricultural product and bulk commodity supply chain. Its distinctive businesses such as digital supply chain solutions and cross-border trade service networks have attracted high attention from the inspection team.

  Chairman Guo Xiaomin extended a warm welcome to the visiting and guiding leaders from his hometown. As an entrepreneur from Handan and the president of the Shenzhen Handan Chamber of Commerce, he has always been concerned about the development of his hometown. The group will leverage its advantages in supply chain services and the RCEP national Pavilion resources to focus on connecting with projects related to Handan's characteristic agricultural products, import and export of bulk commodities, and the smart agriculture industry.

  Chairman Guo Xiaomin stated that they would cooperate in areas such as creating the "Handan-RCEP Digital Living Room" in the RCEP National Pavilion, pioneer "cross-border planting", and build a "dual circulation quality control system". They look forward to jointly writing the "Handan story in the National Pavilion" with Handan. At the same time, they will organize more enterprises in Shenzhen to invest back home through the chamber of commerce platform to contribute to Handan's high-quality developmen.

  President Xu Jingfen gave a detailed introduction to the development history, industrial layout and strategic planning of Zhongnong Economic and Trade. She stated that the group has always been driven by the dual wheels of "technology + supply chain", delved deeply into the supply chain services of bulk commodities, and established a trade network and international supply chain system covering both domestic and international markets. Relying on the advantages of RCEP regional agreement policies, global resource connections, and digital supply chains, carry out cooperation with Handan in areas such as agricultural product import and export trade, construction of agricultural industrial parks, brand promotion, and agricultural science and technology.

  Mayor Fan Chenghua stated that Handan, as an important industrial base and major agricultural city in North China, has pillar industries such as steel, food processing, and modern logistics, and is actively promoting the coordinated development and industrial transformation of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. He said that the experience of Shenzhen Zhongnong Economic and Trade in integrating agricultural product trade, warehousing, logistics and cold chain, cross-border trade services and other fields of RCEP member countries is highly consistent with the industrial demands of Handan. He looks forward to both sides taking this inspection as a starting point to deepen cooperation in the construction of agricultural product supply chain systems, the entry of agricultural products into the Bay Area, and the "going global" of Handan flavors. The municipal government will provide all-round policy support to promote the implementation of the project.
